England won the women's Euro

 England's greatest success in football was at Wembley, that too 56 years ago. Bobby Moore's team won the World Cup by defeating West Germany. 2021 could have ended the English trophy drought in international football. But that didn't happen.

Harry Kane's England lost the Euro final against Italy in a tiebreaker at Wembley. Success did not come by chance. However, it is the girls who have overcome the drought. They made history yesterday by beating Germany 2-1 at Wembley to win the Euros. England went ahead with Ella Tunney's goal in the 62nd minute, but Germany equalized in the 79th minute with Lina Maggal's goal. Chloe Kelly made the English team happy by scoring in the 110th minute of the extra time match.
