Nurul ends Zimbabwe tour with finger injury

The Bangladesh team got the bad news after winning the second match of the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Captain Nurul Hasan has been ruled out of the entire tour due to a finger injury.

In the second T20 match in Harare today, Nurul injured his left index finger while catching a ball from pacer Hasan Mahmud.

Physio Mujadded Alfa Sani of Bangladesh said, 'After taking X-ray on Nurul's finger, it was found that his finger is broken. It takes at least three weeks to recover from such an injury. Because of that, Nurul will not be able to play in the series deciding match on August 2 and in the following ODI series.

Nurul did not have to bat in the second match. But he took a catch off Mosaddek. Despite playing a great innings of 42 runs from 26 balls in the first match on Saturday, the team could not win. In response to Zimbabwe's 205 runs, Bangladesh lost the match by 17 runs.
