An era of waiting is over after losing India

Starting from the first match in Cox's Bazar in 2010, Bangladesh girls have never beaten India in the last 5 tournaments at the senior level. Today, the wait of an era in Kathmandu is over. Bangladesh beat India 3-0 with Sirat Jahan's double goals. Sabina Khatunra entered the semi-finals as the group champion of this victory.

Bangladesh girls have not seen such dominance against India b

efore. From the beginning of the match to the end, they kept the Indians at bay. The goal could have come in the seventh minute. Seerat headed the ball into the net from Sanjida Akhter's cross, but before the referee whistled the goalkeeper for a foul. But Bangladesh did not have to wait long to get that goal.

After receiving the ball from Sabina, Krishna Rani extended a through pass into the box, Sirat pushed the ball past the goalkeeper and into the net. Bangladesh, who could not take the lead in any match before against India, should become more confident after this goal. In the 34th minute, Krishna entered the left side and sent the ball into the net after receiving a pass from Sirat. Bangladesh went into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Instead of allowing India to return from the break, Bangladesh wants to ensure the victory. When Sirat dodged the goalkeeper and pushed the ball into the net after Sabina's through pass, the victory came within Bangladesh's grasp. In the rest of the same way, Bangladesh achieved that historic victory without giving any chance to the Indians. Being the group champions, Bangladesh also avoided the mighty Nepal in the semi-finals. They will play against Bhutan in the fight to reach the final.
