BCB is finally showing the game

Finally, the BCB is broadcasting the Antigua Test between Bangladesh and the West Indies live. Bangladesh Cricket: The Tigers' Facebook page of the BCB is broadcasting the third day of the Antigua Test. The test series is also being broadcast on ICC TV. However, to watch the game on ICC TV, you have to pay 2 via an international credit card.

Whether the Bangladesh team's games in the West Indies tour will be broadcast live or not was already a concern. The first day of the Antigua Test between West Indies and Bangladesh was not televised as no Bangladeshi TV channel bought the broadcasting rights.

The rights to show the matches of the series in Bangladesh belong to the Bangladeshi company Total Sports Management. But the company bought the rights from the West Indies but could not sell it to any TV channel in Bangladesh. The BCB and Total Sports have approached the International Cricket Council (ICC) without seeing any way out.

Later, a joint effort of BCB and Total Sports was arranged to broadcast the Test series on ICC TV. But the BCB has to think differently as many viewers in Bangladesh do not have international credit cards. BCB and Total Sports were trying to show the series for free even before the start of the test.

But the first two days of the test were not possible as the BCB did not have 'geofence' technology on social media. That problem has been solved and will be seen directly from today, said Tanvir Ahmed, head of the media department of the BCB.
