Pandya presents bat to Irish batsman

Hardik Pandya is fascinated. The Indian all-rounder was shocked to see the batting of Irish young Harry Tector against India last night. In his captaincy debut, there was a possibility of a storm of one batsman in the opposition, but Pandya was rather happy.

Pandya was impressed to see a young man from a team like Ireland play such a fearless cricket and gave him his own bat.

Many of India's key players are busy preparing for the Test series against England. So India have sent almost the second team in the two-match T20 series in Ireland. Pandia is captaining the team. Pandya had a great start to his captaincy. India took 3 wickets of Irish in 4 overs. That too for only 22 runs.

There was no interest in the match which came down in 12 overs due to rain. But Tector surprised the opponent by counter-attack. He hit 74 off 33 balls with six fours and three sixes to give Ireland a fighting score. Pandya was impressed at the end of the match and said, 'Today I was stunned by some of Harry's shots. I am waiting to see his progress. '

The two teams will face in the second match of the series today. Earlier, Pandya had inspired Tector to do better, 'I must admit, he has played some great shots. He is 22 years old, I also gave him a bat so that he can hit more sixes and get an IPL contract. Good luck to him. Just take good care of him and give him the right direction. '
