Muminul returned with zero runs in the warm-up match against Tamim

Tamim Iqbal has been in the discussion for some time about getting down to number four in the batting order and playing T20. He went on a tour of the West Indies with all the controversy. But the country's best opener forgot everything as soon as he got on the field. Tamim was well prepared to score a century against the Cricket West Indies President's XI. However, the former Test captain Mominul Haque returned empty-handed despite getting the left-arm opener's run. The top order batsman could not open the run record after playing 7 balls.

Tamim completed his century with 14 fours and 1 six off 162 balls against the Cricket West Indies President's XI on Friday (June 10). This run will definitely boost Tamim's confidence in the main match. He did not stop with a century, the opener is slowly moving towards a big innings. Despite Tamim scoring a century, Mominul Haque and opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy returned to the dressing room without opening the scoring. Even though he played with two balls, he could not add any run next to his name.

Cooley won the toss and elected to bat. This batsman could not open the run book after playing 7 balls. Then Tamim and Nazmul Hossain made a pair of 140 runs for the second wicket.

Though Tamim kept one end at bay, Shant was dismissed for 54 runs. Shant made his innings with 9 fours off 99 balls.

After Shantar's return, Muminul also left quickly. Muminul was suffering from run drought recently. The batsman gave up the lead at the end of the Sri Lanka series due to some reliance. Everyone expected that Mominul, the famous Little Master, would return to the rhythm by reducing the burden of responsibility. But after playing that ball, offspinner Bayern Charles was caught behind the wicket by the ball and he left.

Liton, who also captained the team in the warm-up match, did not get a run. He returned to the dressing room with 4 runs. Yasir Ali Rabbi (11) retired voluntarily. Tamim is batting with 128 runs. Tamim made his innings with 16 fours and 1 six off 205 balls. All in all, Bangladesh has scored 219 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 8 overs.

Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan, who was led by Muminul, has not yet joined the party. Shakib, who is leading the third Test team, will join the team from the United States on Saturday (June 11).
