Mango, jackfruit and litchi have been the companions of France World Cup winner

 Last Wednesday and Thursday, Bangladesh played in those two days World Cup Trophy. Christian Karembu, one of the representatives of the golden generation of France, came to Dhaka with the most admired trophy of football.



He was a defensive midfielder for the team that won the 2000 Euro and 2001 Confederations Cup after the 1998 World Cup. He has also spread light in club football. Real Madrid have won two Champions Leagues. Karembu left Dhaka last night with the trophy.


While leaving Dhaka, the French World Cup winning footballer was accompanied by three seasonal juicy fruits of Bangladesh, mango, litchi and jackfruit.


BFF general secretary Abu Naeem gave the information, 'We know that he likes our native fruits mango, litchi and jackfruit. So when I returned, I gave him 5 kg of Himsagar mango, 200 litchis and 1 jackfruit. ' He also said that a boat was given to Karembu as a gift.


Karembu arrived in Dhaka on June 7 at 11:15 am with the World Cup trophy. The gold trophy was displayed to the President at Bangabhaban in the afternoon and to the Prime Minister at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the evening. The lucky spectators posed for a photo with the trophy at the Radisson Blu Hotel, standing in a long line on Thursday.


Karembu spent a lazy time at the hotel with the trophy on the last day yesterday. The World Cup trophy left Dhaka at 12:20 pm on a special FIFA flight after a journey of about 60 hours. The trophy went to East Timor from Bangladesh as part of the FIFA World Cup Trophy World Tour organized by Coca-Cola.
