Celebrating the title of Champion Fortis

With two matches left, Fortis FC secured a ticket to the Premier Football League. Today (Saturday) was the last match of the Championship League. Zahidur Rahman Milon's team left the field after drawing the match. After that, their title celebration on the field was worth watching.

Fortis drew 0-0 against Nofel Sporting Club at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. Fortis has risen to the top of the Premier League with 13 wins from 22 matches and 48 points from eight draws. Now if the club can fulfill the licensing conditions, there will be no obstacle for the team to play in the next league.

Azampur Football Club is in the second place with 39 points in 21 matches. Nofel is in the third place with 1 point less than them.

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) did not declare Azampur runners-up even from the second place. Allegations of match-fixing against the team are under investigation, so BFF is taking time.

Abdus Salam Murshedy, senior vice-president of the company, told the media, “Azampur has more points than Nofel. As per the media reports and the allegations of the match commissioner, their matches have been monitored by the BFF's rigged match identification committee. Talking to them, the investigation into the allegations is underway. We are not announcing runners-up until a decision is made. "

The Champions and Runners-up teams from the Championship League will have the opportunity to play in the Premier League. BFF expects to announce the runners-up team by June.
